MRSA

So last week I started to notice that I had a red bump on my skin. I didn't think too much of it and left it be. As my week progressed so did the bump. It became red, bigger, and hot. I went to have it looked at and my Dr. cultured it and wouldn't you know it was MRSA. A very scary and aggressive antibiotic resistant bacteria. Well yesterday I had enough and went back to the Dr. He tried to numb it but since it was so infected it didn't numb. OUCH!!!! He cut it open and drained as much of the infection as he could. Then packed it so it will heal from the inside out. I had no idea it would be that painful. I see the Doc in the morning and we will see if it is improving, which I sure hope it is cause it hurts. Now for the squeamish part. Yes I took pictures and yes I am posting them so when I get my blog put into a book I can remember it. Weird, gross, crazy, dumb I know, yet here it is:
